Accessibility
Last reviewed: June 2026
Advanced Medical Imaging ("AMI") is committed to ensuring that our facility, our services, and this website are accessible to all patients, including those with disabilities. We strive to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act, and we continually work to improve the accessibility and usability of our care for everyone we serve in Seminole, St. Petersburg, and across Pinellas County.
Physical Accessibility
Our imaging centers are designed to welcome patients of all mobility levels:
- Wheelchair access: Ground-level entrances, accessible doorways, and barrier-free interior pathways throughout the facility.
- Accessible parking: Designated accessible parking spaces are located close to the entrance, with free ground-level parking at the door.
- Accessible exam areas: Accessible restrooms, height-adjustable imaging and exam tables where clinically appropriate, and trained staff available to assist with safe transfers and positioning.
Communication Accessibility
We work to make sure every patient can understand and participate in their own care:
- Interpreter services: Language interpretation and assistance for patients who are deaf or hard of hearing can be arranged. Our staff includes bilingual (English/Spanish) team members, and additional interpreter services can be coordinated in advance at no cost to the patient.
- Large-print materials: Patient forms and informational materials are available in large print upon request.
- Audio assistance: Staff are available to read forms aloud, explain instructions verbally, and provide additional support for patients with visual or reading difficulties.
Website Accessibility
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Our website is built to support:
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements can be reached and operated without a mouse.
- Screen reader compatibility: Semantic HTML, descriptive alt text on images, and labeled form fields support assistive technologies.
- Readable design: Sufficient color contrast, scalable text, and a clear, consistent layout.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. If you encounter any part of this website that is difficult to use, please contact us using the information below so we can help and continue to improve.
