When you call to schedule, we'll verify your insurance benefits and confirm your coverage for the ordered exam.
Know Your Cost
We'll tell you your estimated out-of-pocket cost before your appointment — deductibles, copays, and coinsurance included.
We Handle the Rest
After your exam, we bill your insurance directly. You'll receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your insurer, then any remaining balance from us.
No Insurance? No Problem.
We offer affordable self-pay pricing up to 75% less than hospital rates. Payment plans available.
Insurance FAQ
Insurance patients typically need a physician’s order or referral for diagnostic imaging — insurers require it to establish medical necessity. Self-pay patients do not need a referral — our physician reviews same day and most self-pay patients are seen same day or added as a walk-in. Some screening mammograms for women 40+ may be self-referred regardless of insurance. Call (727) 398-5999 and we’ll confirm what your specific exam requires.
Depending on your plan, you may owe a copay, deductible, or coinsurance. We estimate this when we verify your benefits and collect any applicable payment at check-in.
If your insurer denies coverage, we'll work with you and your doctor to appeal the decision. In the meantime, we offer self-pay rates and payment plans to keep your out-of-pocket costs manageable.
We accept Original Medicare and Railroad Medicare. Several Medicare Advantage plans are also accepted depending on your specific plan — call us at (727) 398-5999 and we will verify your coverage for free.
